Blogging is such a lonely journey

just a piece of advice, don't mind what they have to say, they definitely dont know that you can earn money from blogging, don't let them make you feel loneley or sad about it. there ar e lots of bloggers here.

Dude, why don't you find like minded people in your area? Are there any co-working spaces nearby, bro?

I've learned to not speak about my business plans with anyone that doesn't understand it. Once you start making money they will ask you about it. But honestly they truly will never care. If what you blog about is not about their interest, they won't read your blog. And they won't ever tell you how awesome you are because of your success.

Just stay focused, keep working, know that this is a long-term process, and be respectful with people in real life. Don't be a push over either in real life. And you'll make friends. Go out. Be social.

The problem many of us have is that we stare at a screen all day, because it's our work. But we get disconnected from real life.

The important things in life should be family, friends, love, health, and wealth. It's not really about impressing people about what you do for work.

I couldn't agree more, especially with the disconnected point.

That's the way it is man. Sometimes, one just have to take a break, No matter how small, just treat your self often
Can't agree more bro. I feel like hit a block two days ago and had to breathe new air for like a good chunk of the afternoon..

I’ve been blogging and am starting to see traffic from Google. But sometimes, I have no one in real life that I know that does blogging.

And when I do bring up the subject, many people will doubt that you can make money from it. I avoid the subject. I’m also an introvert which makes it more lonely than ever.

Blogging truly is a lonely journey. I was wondering if there’s anyone that’s at my beginner level with the same drive to reach success that I could connect with so that way, we can help each other’s blog become successful and stay motivated.

If you already have a blog and website and know basic SEO (I only know basic SEO), it would be nice to connect and help each other learn from our mistakes to prevent our loneliness of blogging.
What do you blog about if I may ask? Nowadays with less and less people reading blogs it's becoming hard to stand out I guess...

I couldn't agree more. Thankfully there are forums like this, SubReddits and Discords where you can network and talk with others in the space situation.

https://discord.gg/gJCF9mJ - is a great Discord server of bloggers
https://www.reddit.com/r/Blogging/ is another great place to network with other bloggers but not as engaging and instant as live chat on Discord imo.

Interesting, because when blogging first started, it was nothing but lonely - on the contrary. Problem is comment spam, which makes interaction with other bloggersmuch more difficult. I do believe that this is one of the reasons people shifted to vlogging.

I feel you, sometimes it IS lonely. Drop me your skype in PM so we can have a chat now and then. :)

I used to feel the same, people think that its good for making some quick buck. There were times when I used to be glued to my computer during my college, it was fun learning about SEO and all google animals lol. It didn't made lot of money back then, since I was new and learning.

I have got a 9 to 5 job right now, which I think is great but I don't think I'll be able to do it for long. I am looking to get back to blogging, since I enjoyed it alot back then and it has huge potential. Lets see how things goes :D

Stay on here with us. We totally understand you when others will not.

I am a man like you. But Trying to increase the Situation. Do you know what the reason of that? I Feel the main reason for instant money. I am also new and start a blog but still don't get enough feedback. Keep your patience and join your local community Facebook Group and earn some money. I am sure the loneliness run away. best of luck

Im also new to blogging im slowing finding my way but would also like too find like minded people to bounce ideas and maybe ask advice.

I can relate 100%.

Ever since I got into IM, no one around me really understands it. From family to friends. And they still don't understand it.

I have gone months, sometimes years without meeting anyone IRL who has similar ventures.

At one point it became frustrating dealing with my family because they had no clue of what I did and did not understand the time I needed to dedicate to it. I disappeared for a few years.

Best decision I ever made. Really gave me the time and space to focus on myself.

Sometimes I feel alone in my endeavors, I start to think of what all my peers have done/been doing.

But then again its a skill set that is very exclusive. And takes a great feat to successfully execute. Along with its financial rewards.

Constantly learning, researching, implementing. Internet Marketing is truly a life dedication, not the type of thing you can hit the office from 9-5 and forget about it afterwards.

I love to network and have met with various people on here locally, all good experiences.

I'm pretty close by OP, Lets grab a drink or two sometime.

FIRST ROUND IS ON ME.

I would say the profession itself can be pretty lonely. Most people I know have a 9 to 5. Typical right. Although I think nowadays more and more people know you can make money online. Just not everyone is doing it with a blog. They'll just be selling products on Instagram, Facebook etc.

But since you're talking about blogging and feeling lonely about it. Why not just connect with other bloggers within the same niche you're blogging about. It might serve a double purpose. You'll be networking and feeling less lonely, plus eventually down the line it will be easier to guest post on those blogs since you already have a connection with the owner.

It will be a good long term strategy to get links from those other blogs. You get to talk about your niche, which I'm assuming you have some interest in, plus you won't feel so lonely.

People talk about finding keywords, writing content, building links, but if you're passionate about your niche and it shows, eventually your blog would grow and you'll get noticed by others if you do all the right stuff.

And then it won't seem like your blog is a little bottle in the middle of the ocean anymore...

As introverts, it's sort of why we do it in the first place.

I agree with you that things aren't black and white, though. It would be nice to have someone to talk to sometimes.

More importantly, kudos for the Attack on Titan avatar. There's one soldier I need to watch out for?
