Blogging ideas?

Hi pals, I have read in one of the reputed SEO forums that Google now does not give importance to the concept of "keywords density"in our websites/bogs. Is it really the cause? What do you think? Thanks in advance.

I really dont think that google dont give importance to keyword density..
instead of my blog my rss feeds gets indexed .. when feed dont have any back links . Only reason that I can guess is that google gives weight to key words...
to check out make a blog for some rarely used keyword.. use that word once in the blog.. and see its google ranking .. later use the same term multiple times and check the blogs google ranking
