Hi

I am running a single online education site and I would like to start a blog to increase organic search, then redirect them to buy educational lessons

so I need advice from experts, is this good for long term and I am trying to focus for next whole year to increase traffic to my site

thanks

Yes I do not see any issue with this and its good for long term provided you know how to write engaging posts related to education site, also try to include podcasts as part of your strategy

There is loads of stuff one can do when it comes to blogging

Check out ahrefs, follow some of their education content and you'll be on the right path without wasting time figuring stuff out on your own.

That's a great long-term strategy.

The key is to look for the topics that your target audience members are truly interested in and just blog away on each of these topics.

Ideally, you should look for questions that are related to these topics that show up on Google autosuggest.

This means that people are actually typing in these questions into Google.

Now, if you enter these phrases into SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs and draw a big fat zero, don't freak out. It's actually good news.

Why?

As long as those questions are directly related to your niche and you can readily create content based on those keywords, go for them.

The fact that they draw zero monthly search volume on Ahrefs or SEMrush means that you have fewer competitors.

This is how you get your foot in the door so to speak as far as your search rankings go.

Lockdown as many of these low-competition keywords, become an authority, build some credibility for your domain, and then start competing for "harder" keywords.
