Blogger vs Wordpress?

It all depends on the niche.
Blogger is somehow limited, in my point of view, its for "cheap" niches.
Nobody will trust in a blogger site for a main website and WP can be managed very well to look like a branded, elegant, fancy website.

Wordpress more flexible, Blogger easier for ranks. I personally use Wordpress but I'm thinking of giving Blogger a go and comparing.

On Free Blogger or Free Wordpress.org the busybodies will flag you if you are aggressively markting and they will take down your site without warning. Go slow in your posting too, especially using the autoposting to Blogger. They will flag you and bye bye. I learned all this the hard way and self host all my WP blogs on Hostgator ever since. Think of it like this: Blogger and Wordpress.org can end your business instantly. Self hosting puts you in charge of your business and your hard work is not taken away by blogger "purists".

If you need more flexibility and more extendability than you would want to go with WordPress if you don't care about that stuff and just want to write articles and put your stuff out there and go with Blogger.

In my personal experience, blogger ranks much higher. So if you have only one to choose use blogger.

I prefer blogger because, its ranks is much higher.

I recommend WordPress, because one day you you will need a more options on the website :)

I think wordpress is better than blogger, i have my all blogs on wordpress.

blogger is much better or wordpress blog not good but wordpress site is good as compare blogger

3 years ago blogger my favorite CMS to start free blogs... but when i go with WordPress it changes my views about it just because of SEO and useful plugins... so in short WordPress is best.

As far as just getting random views, I feel like Blogger is better for that. For more customization and more options to your blog then Wordpress is definitely the way to go in my opinion. So Potential = Wordpress ..... Views (initially) = Blogger

They would both yield the same results, what matters is content and linkbuilding. Wordpress do remove blogs though.

Blogger has more potential because it is much light weight and google being their master gives them more preference.

Wordpress wins with the plugins.

Only time to use blogger is when creating web 2.0s. Its easy to create good looking moneysites using wordpress.

If you use wordpress, you get to use plugins but Blogger is easy to manage.

Wordpress is a lot better for customization. I'd go for wordpress if you want to do something longterm and mess around with customizing the look and feel of your site.

But if you're new, go for blogger to get things started.

No doubt, WordPress is my favorite, because of:
SEO plugins
easy to use
great looking themes
easy to customize
show google ads
no need of developer
and much more
