Blogger vs Wordpress?

Yes, I do prefer blogger. It is very easy to use as I am not a very tecky guy - it ranks pretty easy for exact matched keywords.

I prefer Blogger not only because it's a service that ranks well since it's a Google service, but because I have much more experience with it. I can quickly and easily create unique looking websites that you can't even tell are hosted on Blogger. I've also created 3 websites for people who have no experience in managing a website using the Blogger platform, and all 3 were very satisfied with the way the website turned out. Even though I have a strong preference for Blogger, I can't talk bad about WordPress since I never made that much of an effort with it.

Hello

I'am using wordpress for some of my websites because wordpress have a lot of plugin and very active community for helping webmasters.

Regards
Chris

I use both (assuming you are not referring to self-hosted wp for this question). The problem is keeping them for any length of time. For me, blogger seems to rank a little faster and surprising (since its giggles) I have kept more of my blogger blogs than I have the wp dot com variety.

When it comes to the comparision of "yourblog.blogspot.com" vs "yourblog.wordpress.org", then I'd go for blogger. Why? Because it's from Google and it has been proven that Google gives its own blog hosting an advantage in terms of ranking. Why? Because THEY have control over those blogs and can take them offline at anytime.

However: When it comes to your own website and you are about to get your own hosting + domain, I'd use wordpress at all times.

If self hosted wordpress, no hosting I go with blogger. But both are equally good on non hosted imo

Pick the one you feel more comfortable with and have a better tool-suite for. The main factor should be how quick you can publish content in an appropriate quality for your plans. It should not be a matter of technology - that is where blogger and wordpress are located at.

I like WordPress so much. I have built many sites with WordPress that ranked well. It also has hundreds to plugins to use to add additional features to your blog. I just like it. I don't have much experience with Blogger.

i think blogger is bettere more better some member here prefer wordpress i think only for template and design !!
but you cand find a good design for blogger too :)

Hi i'm looking for a blogger template that will work for microniche keywords can you suggest some i looked on the forum and didn't find any

Apart from flexibility, you can also self-host wordpress. So this is an important parameter to think about if you believe that this might be something you want to do down the line.

If you are only concerned about ranking, do a simple google search (incognito mode) for the keywords that you are targeting. If you have a lot of blogger sites showing up in the results, then there may be some benefit from going with blogger. In my personal experience, entertainment category keywords tend to have more blogger results than other category keywords.
