    Hey
    I just finished my template and i want to share it for free
    but i need to protect my credits and rights on the footer
    because i saw a few templates that if you change the credits , the template will be destroyed! i want the way to do it

    Google "How To Add Non-Removable Credit Link In Blog Template". Look for result from keyyard.blogspot. That post has instructions that may help you.

    There is a Javascript for that.... if users remove your credentials, their blog will be redirected to yours.

    I mean in reality though, there's no way to permanently do that. Any code that comes with the template can be altered by anyone who knows the language used.

    This is true, but he can make it harder. I don't understand why people remove footer copyrights anyways though. It's a dick thing to do. Especially if the theme is free. The least people can do for developers is keep the copyrights in tact.
