Blogger question about Pages

I'm not really sure if this is a completely idiotic question or not but..

I am new to Blogger, and website building in general. Curious about the Blogger 'Pages', and what they can be used for. I created a new Page and from what I can tell you can pretty much only add text to it or some html. I'm curious if any other bloggers use Pages for anything, or what can be done with them. From what I can tell you can't add widgets to them, unless you can do that through code. Other than an "About/Contact" page and maybe working in a few keywords, is there a point in utilizing Pages on a Blogger site? Thanks!

PS: With my niche, I wouldn't really need any static information/content, so I think that's out of the question for me.

blog is just like our sub-domain of the blogs site.It contains text,pictures and useful information about the sites.

as "contact us""Privacy policy" or other pages are shown to your visitor everytime he browses your posts
you can use it for "Site map" "About" "Our Partner" ,these all will be shown on each post you write
