blogger or website? help

I'm looking to buy a domain, and hosting. as a .org for my niche I was wondering if that is more beneficial to do or should I stick with blogger? I'm new to the website thing, I've done blogs but never a full blown website. On my blog I get about 200+ average unless a topic is trending views a day. On my.com My goal is to get 1k day trending or not. I'm looking to make money from affiliates, as well as google adsense thus why I want to use blogger over word press.

Having your own domain and hosting is better.
You have control over it and people will have trust in a .com/.org domain rather than a xxx.blogspot.com

If this is a longterm plan, you should definitely set up your own site, don't use Blogger.

You contron it when you have your own site. Also if you want to sell it one day its possible with own site not with blogger blog.
