Blogger Help Needed

Ok guys, here's the deal... I'm basically creating my first Blogger Blog, and i've never done this before...

Now, i know that there are tons of information out there about creating a Blogger blog, and i've been reading and implementing and doing stuff on my own, and i will continue to do so... It's not that i want to be spoon-fed...

Problem is that i get A LOT of questions popping into my mind, small details and such that if i can't sum them up and ask them somewhere, by the time i get throught 2-3-10 pages and a few videos to figure it out, i already forgot about the rest of the details... Anyway, i'll be asking some questions, i'm sure most of you guys can help especially when talking about Blogger, so here it goes...

1) Am i allowed to have 2 Blogger Accounts (not 2 blogs)... Basically i have 2 Gmail accounts, i use one on chrome and one on Firefox. Can i use both those profiles to run Blogger Blogs, or could that pose a problem as far as ranking, indexing, Google, banning etc etc goes??

2) How is it possible that i have 1 blog i created 2 weeks ago, it got indexed a week ago, and today it's de-indexed, i got 2 short crappy posts on it and one Page/Tab that leads to an external site... But another site i created just a few hours ago is already findable on the search engine of Google, and there is literally no article there except for a testing article of nothing but "ssssss", literally.. How can that be???

3) Title, Domain and Description. Any tips on that from SEO standpoint? I got my Title and Domain literally the same, the same 3 words for the title and the domain name... About the description, i get it, it's the description of what my Blog is about, but does it play a role in SEO? Should i make sure to include keywords etc, or should i just write what the blog is about, and call it a day??

I see no problem with 2 Blogger accounts, since I have around 4 youtube accounts and they're through Google too.

As for your index-deindex I have no clue, my apologies.

To sum up the SEO portion I would keep the Title and Tagline different. For example; "IceCreamChub - It makes you chubby!" (had to lol when writing that)

And the description should be similar to your tagline, but come off as written by a human and not a robot. You can go alone the lines of "Your #1 source of blahdeeblah"

Hope this helps, and be sure your content is keyword relevant. Titles of posts and putting your keyword in the articles even ONCE does the job.

For the first question... It is possible to use 2 Blogger Profiles/Accounts? Or it is possible that it could pose a problem?

Alright, but i am talking about using the same IP... Are you using it like that or with proxies etc??

Well, currently i've used the 3 words in the Domain, Title, Description(Tagline)

URL - Bla bleh blue.blogspot

Title - Bla bleh blue
Tagline - It's Bla bleh blue for everyone. The best etc etc...........

Of course everything is written by a human, i'm human lol

i have 2 gmail accounts running from the same ip and i know that you have the entire package from Google now (mail, youtube,blogger, etc etc etc) under the same account so basically i do have 2 blogger accounts on the same ip which (business mail and personal mail)

only thing is that one is on mozilla and one is on chrome but they are opened at the same time so i see no problem there

hahahaha oh man that is EXACTLY what i'm doing too... Same thing, same web browsers... Awesome, good to know thiis info from someone who is actually doing what i'm doing as far as that's concerned...

I'm going to ask one more thing because i went through a couple of pages on Google and Youtube videos and i can't find the solution...

When i share my Blog on Facebook, the thumbnail that appears is that of my Google+ Profile that is associated with my Blog, but i Do NOT want that picture to appear...

How can i set a custom Thumbnail to appear when i share my Blog on Facebook or any other site that displays thumbnails???

Thanks... I will keep looking, but i hope someone here can help me out... It can't be that complicated...

Now facebook ask you to upload a custom thumbnail , i see no problem there ? and yup when you share your blog on G+, it will show the logo or the author bio pic on the thumbnail.

No, facebook only gives me the option to share my Blog with my google+ Personal picture as the thumbnail, that's it...

And i have a little pic i would like to use as a logo for my blog...

Simply put, i have no options to select anything custom as far as the thumbnail goes :/

Yeah but there Must be a way for me to be able to choose a picture which is sort of my logo... And i'm reading for hours and can't figure it out...

I found something related to HTML - rel="image_src" - In the header or something like that...

Nobody gives a nice detailed explanation or tutorial... So i'm jumping from blog to blog trying to figure it out, all the while hoping somebody from BHW will come and solve this problem for me in 3 sentences...

Well, i give up...

I can share any post and it generates a thumbnail...

But when i share my Blog, as it is, not a blog post, i only get the motherfucking Google+ profile picture of my fucking face...

The tutorials suck, there are no videos on this, nothing...

I'm upset, tired, sleepy, agitated, and super fucking pissed off...

I mean, how hard can it be for me to be able to do the following:


1) Share my Blog's URL on Facebook...
2) Get an Image of My Choosing as the thumbnail...

That's it, all i've been trying to do... Nobody knows anything, the tutorials suck, anyway... I'm upset, sorry for the rant...

Anyone, i would rather get an answer here than have to go ask "Google" about it...

I bet that half of this forum knows how to do this...

Well whenever i share my page on Facebook they as me to choose a thumbnail.

btw you ca use canonical tags to assign a particular thumbnail to your site

Well, when i share A POST on facebook, i get to choose between the pictures in that post, and my Google+ Profile picture...

BUT, if i share my Blog's URL, then i can ONLY choose the Google+ Profile picture of my face...

And i have no idea what canonical tags are, never heard of them before... So i'm reading about canonical tags now...

With Google+ for example i don't have a problem, it works perfectly...

When i share my Blog's URL on Google+ i get to choose any picture from my entire Blog... From all the posts!

When i share a post from my blog on Google+ i get to choose from the pictures from that particular post, and i can also choose my Google+ Profile picture...


But when sharing my Blog's URL on Facebook, i only get the Google+ profile picture to choose as a thumbnail... Nothing else...

I'm still working on it.

Well, i ran into this Article and it said to go and shorten your URL with bitly, and then post on facebook and you will be able to choose a thumbnail from the pictures of your blog...

I didn't think it would work, but it did... I shorten my Blog's URL with bitly, and then i get to choose from 7 thumbnails from all the pictures on my blog...

I mean, it's a solution, but i still don't want to share Bitly links, i want to share my Blog's URL properly with the Thumbnail of my choice...

Guess i gotta keep looking...

1) I dont think there is a limit to how many blogs one can have, i myself have a few but can't seem to find the time to update all of them.

2) I would suggest that go for the basic seo methods, add more content and dont have too many outgoing links to begin with. you should get re-indexed eventually.

3) Subscribe to a few SEO newsletters, follow a few SEO people on twitter and pick up nifty ideas from them that you can implement.

I cant paste links here otherwise i would have sent you some!

With Blogger blogs its the same as your normal website but you can push it a little more
I had over 40 of them at one time and never had a problem until few weeks ago i got canned lol i think a competitor had something to do with it

Have 1000+ word articles I keep it at 2-3% keyword density with a few others mixed in at 1%
Good title with keyword in it
change it up dont use same basic theme
Tags- this is where you want to put a list of your keywords i try to stick with 4-5
Have a out going wiki or something as one of your links



Other then that they will rank with backlinking and social I had all mine tied to goog + ,facebook, twitter etc

I wasn't asking about how many blogs i can have. I was asking about how many Blogger Accounts i can have... It's cool though, i got my answer...

About SEO and indexing, yeah i still need to go through that stage, i was actually just wondering how come one 2-3 weeks old blog gets indexed and then de-indexed... But a 4 hours old blog gets indexed so quickly... Anyway, it's not even important...

SEO is not a problem in general, i don't need to subscribe to people, i can get all the info i need on blackhatworld and on the internet in general... I was only asking about 3 particular things, Title, Domain and Description...

haha well, i never had a "normal website", this blogger blog is my first "website" ever...

Im far from having 40 blogs. Maybe some day when i can learn how to automate many things and maybe have an income to be able to hire some writers to produce the content...

Again... Facebook Thumbnail when i share my Blogger Blog. How can i choose which Thumbnail will be displayed???

I even went and deleted my Google+ profile picture, set my logo picture as the profile picture, and stupid Blogger is still displaying my old Google+ profile picture as the thumbnail... UNLESS i cover the link with Bitly and share the bitly link, then i can choose any one of the pictures on my entire blog... BUT if i share my Blog's URL the way it is, i can only get the thumbnail which is my old Google+ profile picture which is a picture of my face... Pissed off about this, and nobody knows anything... I thought Blogger was supposed to be "easy", but nobody knows the answer to "easy"...

Ok i give up...

Google+ works fine...

Facebook keeps showing the one same goddamn fucking thumbnail... (Not for individual posts, but for the Blog's URL)

So for facebook i'll just use Bitly to load the Thumbnail, and then delete the Bitly link and paste my Blog's URL there, so i will get to choose the thumbnail i want, and still have my Blog's link when i post my post...

All i want, is to paste my blogger blog's URL into Facebook, and for it to generate a specific thumbnail... If anybody knows, please tell me how to do it...??

I think you can to have 2 accounts. I have more. And you can to have unlimited blogs.
