I chose Wordpress it's pretty easy to work with for me.

Let's say I wanted to create a directory of local businesses as a website. What platform would be best for that. I can't seem to find a web platform website builder that doesn't only have a blog format.

Go for wordpress as its having a lot more function and the blog too looks great....
