Blog without unique articles

I think if you will run your blog with balanced contents - like 50% original posts and 50% duplicate contents ( just by adding summary of the whole post ) - with the help of original source link. And mainly those posts which helps you out to gather more traffic on your blog. Then I guess its a safe deal.

Curating content is different and won't get you banned by Google, similarly, dupe content I believe will work as long as you craft a unique summary or intro and always link back to the source.
 
Unique article only can getting rank on search engine. If you are using source means your site not banned, but you site never rank on search engine. i am sure. So always posting unique..... Unique...... Unique.....
 
It's hard to find good content on ezineartcles and other directories. Most of their articles look one step above a spinner.

Do you scrape content from regular blogs and news sites? Do they ever complain?
 
Since you want targeted traffic from social media sites, it should be fine but try to also add some unique content to make it different to other sites. But if you simply copy paste from different sites, it would be pointless to try and seo, you may never rank.
 
Really curious to know if technique worked well for you or not. Ideally copy paste of already existing content never really works so please do give an update.
 
IMHO, A blog with duplicate content= wasting of time. google is more concern about quality content so don't do this.
 
It will definitely work! You can rank better then the site you copied from! Make sure that you are updating it regularly without breaks. Ia m doing this and it still works keeping aside all the bird attacks from Google!

There are chances where you will be penalized when the original author sends DMCA notice to you or sends removal requests; until then you are safe! If you are going to do this on blogspot blogs, there are easy chances for deleting your blogspot account, if many peope file DMCA notices!
 
it will not rank if it has duplicate content. the best way to do it is to post screenshots of the text (image format) and put some small descriptions underneath them. This way, google will rank it as an image and will not consider it as a dup.
 
Yes I find that google only responds well to unique content and even then its tricky to get a good result. I ran a blog with 4 unique articles a day for three months and did not get much organic traffic. Maybe I did not keep at it for long enough. I am still working at this. I will let you know if I have luck.
 
This makes no sense ah6065. If Google only responded well to unique content then why was it so hard?

My point - Stop worrying about Google and start adding value, even if it's not your own. But pay respect where respect is due to the original content creator.

i read all this post and i believe that procam is right. a lot of sites here in my country ( non english speaking ) are agrerators they get content from other sites but they backlink to them, they do intenal linking and they are in the first page of g for single high competitive keywords i think i will focus to one site like that
 
Google had mentioned number of times through Matt Cutts that they do not penalize the Website/Blog with duplicate content. They just doesnt give it enough value. So you can keep on adding. You will not be penalized, but you may get less preference.

But if you can bring in lot of people to your blog through Social Media, then offcourse it will help to increase your rankings. As the bounce rate will be less and google will see that your content is useful.

rewrite is recommended. don't using not unique articles, just lose your time
 
I suggest the content must be at least 30% own ideas and 70% copied from website. But you must always get the copyright, So that you can't violate that lead into suspension.
 
Content is always king.if you are using some copied content it will be easily indexed by google and get banned your blog.so try to post quality and unique article for blogs:)
 
try spinning articles or better post quality and unique articles.
 
what's the unique mean on google's eyes?
for example; changing 1 or 2 words from each sentence; article will be unique?
and what about media objects? photos, videos etc?
