If you had to choose between starting a blog or a forum in 2025, what will you choose and why?

I find creating a blog and maintaining it easier than creating a forum because forums are very complicated.

There are some forums which started as passion project and became very big with time.

Start with a blog. It’s quick and cheap to launch, and your articles can rank in Google sooner. You build trust by posting useful stuff. After you have steady visitors, add a forum or Discord to let people chat. Community tools need more time and work.

My opinion is forum. It's user friendly and easy to contribution if you're are dedicated about it i think you can increase it so fast.

I will choose a blog blog because it is easier to maintain. With forun, you cannot manage alone when it has grown.
