Hi there.

I want to share something with you and I need honest answers, please.
I've created my blog 20 days ago and I'm regularly posting original content on it. I've downloaded yoast SEO plugin on my wordpress and all of my posts are with good readability and good SEO.

Every day I see different results in google analytics. Some days I have 50 views, some days 10, 5, 0, etc. My bounce rate is pretty low for now. (oo:oo:20)

I use facebook, twitter, tumblr, pinterest, google+, instagram to drive traffic. Also, I use quora and yahoo answers and stumbleupon.
HARO is my option too, but i rarely get a chance to write about something I know.

My question is, is it to early to monetize my blog and are those traffic methods good for driving traffic (for a beginner like me).
P.S. I consider writing guest posts in the near future and also I will sign up in my niche related forums to gain some traffic from there too.

I would really appreciate a honest answers. Thanks in advance.

What you are doing is absolutely fine. Since your site is new, it might take some time to attract visitors but the tactics you're carrying out will definitely work out in driving good amount of traffic soon.

One other method you can use is posting viral contents on your site and share them on social media. This will help you to achieve traffic.

Guest posting on your niche relevant sites will work in bringing targeted traffic and this is a great way as G loves relevant links.

Your strategy is sound, OP. But you need time to get stable results. New sites are naturally jumpy on SERPs, mainly because Google is trying to understand what your site is about to classify it. Once it's classified, you get more constant results. So keep pushing good content and sharing. I would not monetize a site before 6 months.

I thought about it too. Making money is priority number one for me, but I also want to make this website stable and trustworthy. I will listen to your advice and will monetize it after new year. That will be my new year's resolution :P. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it!

I keep hearing things about over optimization on this site about Yoast. They all say just to do it manually.

I will make a new thread about yoast SEO these days. Thank you about your contribution!

Hello, Kire! I faced the same problem regarding traffic when I launched my first website but then I tried native advertising. It was cheap and cost per click platform offered me assured clicks so I knew where

I was spending my money. I was working with adnow.com It was a cool network

Hello. It is very early for you to even think about monetizing the blog. An ideal time is always three months to six months depending on the work you have done on the blog. For now, I think you need to focus more on how you can retain the customers or visitors making it to your blog. It is a very critical thing to do. Be sure to have posts that do engage the visitors.

Thank you for your contribution guys, It means a lot to me.

I do my best to keep my visitors. I post new content every day or every other day. My content is relevant and it's not copied. I use pixabay and sxc images and maybe sometimes google images, but i try to avoid them. Will do my best to succeed. Thanks.

I'm im a similar situation OP. When I do nothing I get about 100-200 uniques a day. When I post my articles on FB for a hour I get 500-1000 uniques a day.
If you were to do that all day long you probably could get 5000-10000 uniques a day. With 1$ RPM that's 5 to 10$ a day, plus after a long time it'll advertise itself
