More traffic - more earnings.
If you can post a lot, tools like SNAP (auto-poster) would help you to distribute your content which eventually will drive more traffic to the site.
Sharing links manually to different Facebook groups and Reddit will help you get direct social traffic, free.
 
Select targeted keywords that give higher CPC. Start guest posting.

Try to work hard on off page SEO.
 
You can post 500 blog posts, but if they aren't targeted and well written you'll never make any money. We need to know more about how you're doing keyword research...are you writing about whatever you want to write about? Or do you have a method to select your topics.

Also, how do your posts compare to those on the first page?

My niche now is about sharing our own experiences mostly in the life of military family, getting this documents, processing this and that. And some is travel as well. So it looks like a general family blog. Lol.

The domain is really new when I bought it so the site metrics is either 0 or 1. I need to do keywords targetting as well and do web2.0 or pbn to rank my post... I will test it this month to see improvement.

A PBN, Web2.0, or High Authority REAL backlink won't do anything if people are searching for your blog post topics (keywords). Think about it like this...I decide to make a website that is about my family's life. My posts are below:

  • This is what we ate for dinner tonight.
  • Today I took my family to the park.
  • We played a game this weekend.

Instead...I should take the same posts and title them like this (and focus on answering these questions):

  1. What is a good quick dinner for a family of 5?
  2. Which parks are toddler friendly in Los Angeles?
  3. What's an easy game to play with a young family?

Then, you can use various tools to check search volume on the questions above. Are people looking to get those questions answered? I hope that helps.
