Is it difficult to make your own blog themes?

I'm open to new methods right now, and though I dislike the idea, it could be very easy once I'm good at writing code.

  2. I've made them before from scratch and it usually pretty easy if you know some HTML and CSS. Look for a theme you like and start modifying it if you wanna understand how they work better, or just want to make them quicker. Good luck.

    It's pretty easy actually.
    I have done few before.

Do you want them for your own or you want to sell them?
It's hard to sell them nowdays but there is cool way you can try.

Make this theme and sell sponsor links. Tell people you sell them that you will submit them to free wp theme sites like: (and here ad list)
    It should work pretty well.

theming wordpress can be quite simple for a beginner, or be made a challenge by an experienced designer. i've been working with wordpress for a couple years, and i consistently am finding new ways to work with it. basically you have a loop (for your posts) and a few tags for your menus. if you can design a page, integrating it with wordpress shouldn't take you long to figure out. simple take a free theme, and chop out the important parts, then transfer them over and drop them into place.

I already mentioned this in my other post. You can utilize a wordpress theme generator if dealing with codes isn't your cup of tea.
