    Alright took me about 2 hrs to figure out how to install wordpress and mess with ftp. I am very new to this :O. Anyways I finally made username and password for wordpress and made database in my sql blah blah blah like it says to do. But when i go 2 my www.domain.com it just says index of/ cgi-bin/ and wordpress/ and when i click to wordpress it got 2 domain.com/wordpress which is my blog! how do i make wordpress to show up just at www.domain.com!! I've been doing this for 4 hrs!:eek::eek::amish:

    Upload the contents of your Wordpress folder into the root folder of your domain...then just delete the wordpress folder.

    Thanks bud. Do i do that through ftp or through my cpanel? also isnt the public_html my root folder?

    Whatever your domain root folder is, upload it there. So if it is your only domain on the account then upload it (via FTP) to the public_html folder or if you have an addon domain in a folder like "addondomain.com" just open that folder up and upload it there.

    alright i just took everything form the folder and moved it into public_html. i send domain 2 friend he said it works fine and it looks like normal blog but when i check it just shows like text and i cant log into admin. i cleared cookies and history. :/

    Make sure your admin folder is under public_html and not in the same directory as it
