Blog style articles on money site

i will launch soon my first site in pets niche. a classic amazon affiliate site with products reviews.
I found some articles using wayback machine.copyscape passed.

the articles are personal stories with adopted dogs and some other blog/forum style crap articles. the thing is, even if are first person articles, they are very well written, long articles. do you think is ok to put that kind of content on my site as well considering is an amazon reviews site? I want niche related quality content on my site(beside my keywords and support articles) but i don't know if is a good approach to put all kind of random articles.

in my opinion those kind of stories are valuable if posted on personal blogs. readers will resonate with the blog owner since they read him for years. but putting on my site... i don't know.

the lecture is enjoyable for animal lovers but who want to read several stories with several adopted dogs. I mean, the content is good but i don't know what section to create for those stories.
basically I don't want to publish those articles for the visitors but for SEO only. like creating some authority hoping my money articles will go up easier(in time).

I always have "blog" section on my amazon sites where I just post whatever fluff content to just make the site bigger. For this purpose, those articles are absolutely perfect.
