Blog slowed by adsense

So adsense has seriously slowed my sites loading time.

My sites are on droplet dedicated hosting as I planned to create a pbn, now I'm not - I'm just running them as money sites. Would it be more cost effective to move to shared hosting? Could I get a better faster hosting package by moving to shared hosting

Also would it be a struggle to transfer the site to a new hosting company and could this risk losing data from my site?

I'm paying a premium for that dedicated IP which I don't really need now I'm not making a pbn but moving seems daunting

Have you tried to reduce the adcode bloat?
or deferred them?
You can do them with something like Perfmatters

along with general website speed optimization

Nah, it's pretty straightforward and most hosting companies will do that for you.

You won’t lose any data if you have full backup of your sites. You can use Updraft Plus plugin to create and restore backups.

I am getting the same issue. I removed AdSense and now the website is running so fastly. Even I have shared Namecheap hosting.

You are not alone.

Many online publishers report the same problem.

The extra code on their page interacts with the code of their theme in such a way that it slows down page load time.

There's really only one way, as far as I know, to address this situation.

You can play around with your theme to see if tweaks to it would enable the AdSense code to load fully, while at the same time making sure that the rest of the page loads at normal speeds.

You have to play around with your themes because a lot of the major theme packages out there have lots of settings.

The default setting is usually good enough for most publishers, but if you're unlucky enough to have a theme that is sensitive to AdSense code, which results in a slowdown, you might have to roll up your sleeves and look at the documentation and make the necessary changes to the settings.
