Blog Ranking Better Than Static Site on Google

How come similar content ranks much better when put in blog post vs. as a static page? What exactly does putting it in a blog so special?

This is a great question that I too would love to know the answer on.

google loves web 2.0 websites....
so if you give users more interactive mode (like comments etc) is good for google.
But a nice trick is to seput a static webpage with some interactive methods like commenting, social networks etc

Static websites are used mostly by corporate which they update months together or yearly twice or thrice. people who search on Google, seeks only the latest information and they love to read what the user has already experienced and not general advices. So blogs are the best way to seek the information from the person who has already experienced.
