Blog Posts or Static Pages

Hello all,

I am in the process of building a website and would like to know what is the best way to create pages. By using blog posts or by creating a page for each article?

To me, it seems that blog posts are much easier to organise and are done so automatically (recent posts, categorising etc.) Whereas manually creating pages involves more link building onsite.

Are there any other benefits or drawbacks to either one?

It depends, I'm currently building a blog in wordpress. I will be using static pages for info that my public will want to access quickly, this is, I will have links on my navbar for this pages. Like: "Best Wordpress Plugins". User will want to find this info right away and not having to search between posts

Go for wordpress , and it depends upon how you want it , static pages with navbar are easy go , if you have not much content. If have a lot of content , then go for blog page.
