You should get some High PR homepage contextual links. They work really well for me you can get maybe 30-50 x PR3-5 links for around $45-60 per month and the links never fall off the home page.
The blog submission services are great but obviously you constantly need to be actively posting to them as the links slowly creep back in the pages.

ive got around 30 sites so i couldnt afford to be buying these links for my sites
add to free blog networks sites that are not making you money and use them to boost the ranks and the income of your other websites.
