hi
I have recently joined a blog network. I am wondering what is the ideal length for my articles? they allow each article to be up to 600 words, and you can insert 1 link for every 200 words. so each article can have a maximum of 3 links.
I was thinking the best way to use these blogs is to put as many links as possible (3). Right now what i am doing is inserting 3 different anchor texts for the same site.
so for example

www.mysite.com << "inspection services"
www.mysite.com/sanfrancisco << "inspector san francisco"
www.mysite.com/losangeles << "inspector los angeles"

but I noticed that other people on these blogs have much shorter articles and they only insert one link. is there a reason why? should i start doing shorter articles and only inserting one link?

im no SEO but wouldn't many articles with good Keywords be better than fewer articles with the same number of keywords?
Just a thought on my end, I would go with smaller articles with one link then you may have more keywords thus more hits.

as google new update now 800 words article is good :)

Average article is 500 words or 400. Just stick in to the latest Google bracket and you'll be good.

I advice you to make short posts on many blogs , because of the ip diversity and domain diversity linking to you.
I would prefer to have 100 links from different C class ips and domains , instead of 100 links from 40 domains , ips .

I hope you got the idea .

I agree with you, but there is a limitd number of blogs. let's say 1000?
If I do short articles, at the end, I will have 1000 links. If I do long articles, at the end I will have 3000 links.
however, EVERYBODY else is doing short articles. so there must be something wrong with my logic.
