So my blog has been steadily growing. A few days ago, on January 13, the blog had 60,680 sessions, 57,807 users and 80,148 page views in one day. At one point I had 1,100 + Real Time visitors and I had to scale my server up.

This may not seem like alot to most of you, but that is a busy day for me.

AdSense has been treating me well, but lately my RPM has been low and I just know I could have made several times the money I did with other monetizing options on my site.

Now, my blog is a niche in the automotive world. It is simply a Wordpress blog and all I do is write articles about cars. I have no product to sell, no affiliate links or anything, just simply (3) AdSense ads on each page - thats it. To be honest, I dont even know about any other form of monetizing.

Also right now I have no e-mail signup, I just have a simple Facebook like page that pops up and I have been getting Facebook likes. Right now, my Facebook page only has about 600 likes total, but most of those have come recently.

My next immediate goal: I would like to average $500/day profit. Long term goal is $3,500/day. I have met my mini-goals up until this point, but now I am at a crossroads.

Im pretty excited because this blog has only been up for 4 months total. Im just a Web Designer with a passion for (fast) cars and decided to jump in and learn on the fly.

Any guidance would be GREATLY appreciated. I have mouths to feed (wife and kid) so I dont want to rely solely on AdSense if there are better options available.

You're in a good niche, sign up to a good affiliate network that has plenty of offers (Neverblue, Maxbounty, Peerfly).
Try to think of what would your visitors be interested in buying. And collect mails.

With that amount of traffic, I would try other networks. Yahoo/bing have a publisher network. There approval time takes a while. That's just one avenue. You could also rent out ad space. There are many possibilities. In my experience its better to build up then try rush anything. From your post you have a Facebook page. That's good but that is not fully using ALL social Media. The more people you attract, the bigger your earning. Try reaching more people. Hope this helps some.

If you have the means to, then managing your own ad inventory could multiply your current adsense earnings several times.

Are you sure you can do better with other stuff instead of adsense ?

Absolutely. It all boils down to what you want and how hard you want it. A closed mouth doesn't get fed.

How does Yahoo/Bing compare to AdSense as far as earnings go, and can I run AdSense and Yahoo ads at the same time?

Yes you can, but I don't remember anyone making more with Yahoo and than with Adsense. I still suggest you focus to CPA/PPL, that's where the money is (IMO). Good luck!

How do I get started with CPA, and what is it?

I would focus more on social media. Reaching more people. Remember your content is what there coming for. Never lose that focus. I wouldn't worry so much about more money right now as I would want more people coming for what is offered on the site. What are your long term goals? Have you thought about building another site? You Keep up the good work.

I would try a mix of both.

Some CPA offers might not convert and you should keep trying different ones till you find a winner.

Also sell ad space.

The others have better suggestions but you could try either amazon affiliate or perhaps even reaching out to some companies related to cars and make your own deal with them.

Also it's great to have ambitious goals but even $500 a day is $182,500 a year, it might be best to aim for a smaller goal first like $100 a day.

How about being an affiliate for car accessories? Maybe direct advertisement from car companies will also help.

1. CAPTURE THEIR EMAILS
2. Make your social media stuff stand out so you get more likes/followers. 57k UV and only 600 FB likes?

After that you just look for any cpa offer related to your niche and email it out, tweet it, and facebook it then BOOM a few thousand comes in with 3 presses of a button

EDIT: Damn 57k UV after only 4 months with no off site SEO is god like, you are the man lol

I'd give Amazon Associates a try. If you write great articles yo should be able to make some killer commissions promoting automotive products.
