I wanted to write a medical book and give consulations. Yeah I've heard that you can get a few hundred/month through blogs
do you just write through some software program (?) and can sell an ebook on Amazon?
yeah I have like 2 books I could write now I'm just wondering if it would be worth the effort. I was in the hospital and really need the money since I'm going bankrupt

Write it first, foresee a few hundred hours to get it to a decent quality. Then give out a few copies for free and ask a few readers for feedback.
In the meantime build and write a blog to get your knowledge out there. Give out a sample chapter and capture your readers e-mail.
After you written the book, market the shit out of it. Realistically i expect you can earn 20-30$ per sale, but that will require high Quality content.
If you've done the sample chapter you'll have an e-mail list ready for when it's completely written.

I have a friend who make tons of money using sponsored post. His blog doesnt have a lot traffic, but his blog has authority in a niche. So people want backlinks.
