Blog Deleted - Anyone Experience This?

Sounds a little strange, but if blogspot sems your blog as just an affiliate blog they can delete it. Anyway you should get some warning first.

It doesn't really matter if Google are right or wrong to call your site spam, that's the unfortunate thing. They're the ones with the big stick and that means they are the ones who make the rules. If by their standards it appears that you are spamming, then they'll kick it out. They don't have the authority to do this with Wordpress, which in my view is a better platform anyway. So you could move your blog to Wordpress, or alternatively you could write some posts without any affiliate links in and see how that goes.

Blogspot delete account is difficult to avoid, trying to make themselves look like the BOT is the most secure.

Just want to share this blog I came across: kindleworld.blogspot.com
That is not my blog. :p
Any comments on how this blog does not get deleted?

I would also like to create an amazon + blogspot site but I'm afraid it would be deleted by google.

Yeah it's full of links, but it also has a lot of content. If I was this blog owner I would put it to WP quick and not even have to worry about it anymore. The content is prob. saving it for now. That's all just my humble opinion.

Why are Google so keen on us using WP? They don't own it do they? I thought it was open source.

Probably because it's an old blog and it was created before the implementation of the new spam bots.

For people wondering what to do, I suggest you host your links at own domain so you link to your domain from the blog.
