There is no exact answer for your question.
You can write as long as you are ranking for your keywords are ranking. But if you are writing an article about some topics means please make sure it is not less than 300 words.
It has to be unique and should contain valuable information to the visitors.
Apart from that,
I couldn't understand why people are stick with only one option for their ranking.
Content quality, Other on page optimization and backlinks, Utilizing the social media power all these are important for ranking.

800-1000 wordcount in your blog is really good for your website.

I think a good content is important and sometimes you will achieve more with less content. On my sites, I use mix of articles from 500 words up to 5000 words.

As a writer, i would suggest try to write min 2k-3k per content which Google loves it. If its a review article, would be best to have 5k per article.

Hey, We cannot say the exact word count of the articles for blogs, its complete depends upon the topic you choose. Readers actually looking for short and sweet content for their solution. So it would be varied from 300 to 1000 words depends upon the topics. And you need to update the contents frequently to rank higher and easy too.

Tech niche is awesome you can write more about it.So you can write 700 to 1k words would be great in my suggestion.
And make it more interactive with live examples and bulleting for some important things.
So in chance, your article will be shared on social media and in return, you may get traffic.

I'd recommend no less than 300 words and up to 1000 you will be just fine , you can write as many as you need to

2k words for the win! Also, just be patient and give it time to rank up but I didn't say you will neglect hard work. Keep building that blog and use lot of methods.
