Blog content??

Guys i've started a wp blog and i need content...Are the content automaters like Contentsolution, blogmatrix, contentfarmer etc worth giving a shot...im planning on doing a bit of writing myself but to give me a start i'll like to get some content....I'd appreciate some comments from you guys...
