Blog Comments. Why are my comments not posting?

hey guys,

when I'm posting comments to blogs, many do not get posted. I'll get 1 of the following...

on submit - a blank page
on submit - a small message on the top left of screen "discarded"
on submit - nothing happen - the page doesn't move
on submit - the page reloads and I look at comments and mine is not added.

is this a spam protection?
if so..
what are the filters? IP? Email? URL? comment itself? do I need to wait a few hours?

in other words, what do I need to do to get my comments posted?

You know what today I also experienced the same problem. My guess is it's a Spam protection, but then again I am not so sure. It's annoying when you read a post, make a comment and then the comment never gets even submitted.

I noticed this problem only with **************** blogs listed by the ****************diver search engine.

so with the large platforms... you know the one.. i only need to
change IP and email? url can stay the same?

yeah that might be akismet. Do you have any access to the raw logs?

Definitely sounds like akismet. Usually, you get redirected to a blank screen with the url wp-comments-post.

Just keep moving on. There is usually nothing you can do, it comes with the job. If the site you're targetting is really juicy, then it can sometimes help to switch IP, make a new account under a new email, and try spamming to one of your other sites with a less commercial name. Of course, you won't know if any of these tactics will work until you spend time trying them out.
