Blog Commenting

I'm using do-follow blog commenting from few month that very reliable instant ranking with it.

I've done blog commenting and done guest posting. Guest posting works like at least 10 times more compared to blog commenting. So i doubt anyone should waste time on blog commenting. Blog commenting mostly is a waste of time anyways, since you can leave your comment on a page with some good PR, but the actual PR can be (and mostly is) 0. So basically you don't get much from such a backlink. When you get a guest post, you get your backlink on a PR0, but later that page gets bigger PR, you just can't see it till the next update, but it is out there all the time and since your link was added before all the link juice was floating to that page, your backlink gets a lot of benefits from that page.

Good example: Some time ago i had ~20 comments on pages with PR3-5 (actual pages, not root domains). After recent google update, i've checked these pages and most of them are PR0 now. My rankings haven't increased at all.

I published guest posts on ~15 blogs (before update), after update i've checked these pages where my articles with links are, and i can see that only a few has PR1, one PR2, the rest PR0. My rankings increased quite decently with all these guest posts.

So just once again, blog commenting is a waste of time. Even if it is good at some point, but the value is still low + all the benefits are very temporary. A lot of times your comment can be removed later or that page spammed to death by other people with their links. And like that you actually can get negative results by having a link on a page with shitload of other spammy links.

check this out before you do blog commenting:
1. actual PR on page
2. number of OBL
3. niche related to your site
4. make it real comment! (read the article, don't just put links)

Hi Guys

I've been doing a little bit of blog commenting recently (not sure about results yet) and I'm wondering about your success rate for getting the comments approved with a link. I've been doing niche related, low OBL, PR 2-4 with good quality comments often getting relies from the author and other site users but each comments takes me 5 - 10 mins. I've been getting around a 36% success rate, is this normal, high/low, I have no comparison?

Thanks

Blog commenting will helps to increase rankings, but comment only on high quality blogs.

most comments are no follow which means that they only pass relevance and not pr.
They are good for ranking for long tail keywords and for "branding" (diversifying anchor) your website. If you want to rank for a competitive keyword, you need ******** from high pr pages.

Use it for link diversification only. Make sure comments are niche related and relevant.
Also it is a great way to communicate and build relationship with people in you niche if you want to go that route.

Blog commenting is a second rate, and much of the time short term way of boosting PR, however, Google has not been successful in reducing PR for a large fragment of the blog comments out there. As a test I put up a few Web 2.0 and article directory postings that have hi PR, and bought ONE set of Fiverr gigs of the "20-40 manual blog comments on high PR actual pages, with low OBL" variety for each. With no other SEO done for such pages, after six months their PR is n/a, but each page has high PA of 40 or more, and TFs of 20 or higher.

If you select a few Fiverr gigs that work like this, $20 or so can bring the site's rank up in a quick and dirty fashion for its main keywords. If Google de-ranks two out of three such links and/or the blogs switch their links to no-follow, the remaining third will still remain to boost the page's standing. That is decent enough to build a small site's SE traffic via assembly, with 3-4 main article pages being pushed into medium-high authority status from this tactic alone. One can also, for an extra margin of safety, vary and supplement the linking to fortify the rankings beyond using blog comments.

Hi Friend,

Actually blog commenting increase in your site keyword position and traffic ratio. that's it....

Its not the best method to increase keyword rankings, but a good way to increase diversity but do not overdo it.
