no, it is not.. however if you do blog commenting on high authority and quality websites that provide you do follow backlink it is still a great method for achieving good ranks
 
Link diversity is key There's not one method for link building that's alot better than others.
 
Its a good way to rank KWs when mixed with other link building practices.
 
I typically use it as one tool in my link building arsenal - as mentioned above it creates link diversity and on a well populated blog can drive a little traffic.

I tend to only comment on high authority blogs nowadays which are niche related.
 
Its a quick and easy way to gain a link, but it isn't an "end all" strategy. Just be sure that the comment you're leaving is on a site that's related to your niche, and the comment is related to the article so it passes moderation.
 
Sorry for off topic, but is there any other way to scrape list high quality site to comment without scrapebox :)
 
doing comments in the do-follow blog commenting sites will help you to gain valid backlinks for your website. try to identify the right site list.
 
I think blog commenting is an effective way to increase your ranking. You can put your website link with your comment.
 
First you have to get google panda safe with do follow blog comments allowed sites. Also must be consider niche related blog. If you have all things , you can build links.
 
It is not really a big deal nowadays. You are better off going with social signals and bookmarking.
 
Your going to need links for all different platforms, and diversify your anchors.
 
I use blog comments to get lots of diversified anchors indexed really quickly. Shows links from lots of different IPs, which is good. But for pure rankings no, not the best.
 
It's not the best way IMO.. But it's one of the way to get good rank improvement depends on how we done it properly..
 
Its a good way if that blogs are reputed, high PR and comments are really relevance and useful to user.
 
Still blog commenting is use for seo and getting traffic. So you can use it for getting traffic.
 
There is a way to search for all wordpress based comments on .edu sites. I used to add comments there and hope it gets approved. If you give relevant comment to their article and if there is a real person behind the blog, your chances of getting your comment and url approved will be high.
