    Hey guys,

I've been making a lot of blog comments lately using fake/non-existant email addresses (make it look like it's coming from a bunch of people). Is this a waste of time?

I ask because recently my backlinks have been dropping off.

It always happens but it has nothing to do with fake ID unless you are using some spam email service provider or temporary email provider... Backlinks are getting dropped off because they are getting deleted or deindexed by Search engines...

De-indexing - Search engines might decide that it doesn't want to index some sites or want to deindex them after finding that site in question is not good enough or just acting as link farm or tons of spams are going on....

Deleted - Webmasters may be start cleaning their sites and your links are getting deleted by them...

Solution:- Just find good sites for commenting where spamming is not taking place already... Go through post and make relevant comment... It may go for moderation but if it is good then it will come back and you will get good quality backlinks from them, which will not be deleted by webmaster and neither it will be de-indexed by Search engines...

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

Email addresses have no effect on the acceptance of blog spam in 95% of cases.

Because a lot of the sites I join require an activation link, I give a genuine email I specifically set up for blog spam. This in formation is not shared with anyone and not visible to google.

You can use a genuine e-mail address, the same one each time, without encountering any problems with blos commenting.
