Hi
is highly related blog commenting with variation on anchor text kw still useful in 2017?
i know not as useful as before, but for link juice backling strategies not bad for variation ??

how would u suggest?

Still widely used for anchor and link diversity. But stick with niche relevant comments, try to actually provide some value so the comment is approved and not deleted and avoid spammed pages with auto approve. And of course, don't overdo it.

You are supposed to do those blog comments manually, so just find some sites in your niche and comment there. You are not supposed to have hundreds of blog comments.

Those spammed to death blogs do not really contribute any power when it comes to giving back the weight to your site's SERP. However, if you are able to get those ******** links from high authority blogs, and if they do not really approve that much of a comment, but got your comment approved, I'm sure that will give back more weight (authority) to your blog.

This is the point maybe I can get 20 good blogs and maybe get 2 or 3 approved......
 
Blog Commenting can raise your search engine rankings if done properly. so just find some sites in your niche and comment there. Also, you want to provide some kind of real value to the comments section.
IF you just comment and say “Thanks (Link)” often times you’ll find that the comment doesn’t get approved and you just wasted your time… That being said, I wouldn’t rely on blog commenting to be your only SEO strategy as it plays a VERY minor part of the total effectiveness in a campaign it can definitely help diversify your links as well as your anchor text.
 
Good quality manually done blog comments on moderated pages are always useful. They are not easy to achieve though.
 
If you will choose the correct blogs then there will be relevant visitors so you can comment on such blogs. It is helpful when your comments will get added with your signature on the blogs. It is the effective way but choosing the best blog is your main work.

i sadly splittested this ..

manual niche relevant comments (using SB manual feature)
vs
automated "thanks for the information, great article" comments.

automated beat manual (akisment is angry, DB is down, page is broke, comment not aproved and shit..) 10x .. it' really sad.

however, I filtered the sites before with DA/UR/DR/OBL<average OBL of total sites

but I get your point.

I have exactly different experience. Also remember, you are often comparing SEO for Google.com with SEO for Google.de, which are apples and oranges :)

they really could "moderate" differently.
 
Yes blog commenting is still very helpful. But you need to do this on good blogs or a niche relevant one. And I won't suggest you use your main keywords as anchors on those. Just other keywords like generic stuffs and brand.

will use it with some kw variation.
in fact the concept of using these blog comments is mainly for traffic which for OBL too much, it wont helps.

There are two types of blogs to use when looking for blogs that are not spammed to death.

1. Blogs that are well moderated. (the obvious one)
2. Blogs with automatic cutoff dates on comments. There are a lot of blogs out there where the owners do not want to go to all the trouble of moderating so they only have comments open for a short time for example 7 days. By the time the heavy spammers find the post comments are closed. What you want to do is work on creating a list of these blogs then add them to a feed so you know when new posts show up. It can take awhile to build up a list but once you have one it is a great way to drop links fairly quickly.

Still works but there are better techniques that seems to work,, posting original content on your page,, is the key forn 2017! The keywords registers pretty quick if the article stands the quality of copyscape and yoast i guess, lets say i spent pretty much Blackhat backlinkin with almost no resaults,, lets wait for others to give opinion

You don't need any tool,, the method he mentioned seems to be poorly helping and you have q chance to get penlized,, never use tools that do the job for you!
It comes with a price at the end, H2/h1 450words minimum is your key!
