What's the best tool for commenting on blogs but doing it legit way. I mean actually reading and commenting posts.

no tools at all, just find the freshest blogs that pops up in advanced search in Google and comment to it.

Success rate will be lesser than 1% for instant live links though you will get them piled up after 1-3 months when moderators check their comment boxes

Fastblog finder is a good tool for manual blog commenting. Not only can you focus on DF targets but you can also see when the last comment was made giving you an indication of how quickly your comment is likely to be read by a mod. I think its $100 or so but I have gained some pretty hefty authorative links using it over the past year or so - does take time though but as with everything, you put it in, you get it back (most of the time....).

You could use scrapebox in manual poster mode.Or just go for google and use something like roboform so u dont need to type in your name, website, email every time.

I just realised scrapebox has a slow post mode :s very useful, auto fills in the form too and it obviously harvests and filters blogs for you.

if it's commenting in blogs and doing it in legit way of course it's manual blog commenting. which is far more better if you can spend some time with commenting work.

I only use SB in manual mode. As a program for finding high PR Blogs for commenting on it's second to none. SB isn't Black Hat it's the way you use it that counts. If you have the $47 or so it would make a great addition to your toolbox.

Only downside is the learning curve but there are plenty of free videos on Youtube and multiple great posts in the Black Hat section of this forum

When I manual comment blogs, I find my competitors' backlinks and comment on the blogs they've commented on.
