Blog commenting/Scarpeboxing Dead?!

well if scrapebox no longer works for blog commenting we better all uninstall it. Because if you can't comment on 1000's of worthless blogs that have 1000's of spammy links what good is it.

lol yea. Blog spamming is dead. Google can EASILY detect when links are coming from commenting. As a result, those links are worth ZERO. No seo value AT ALL.
The name of the game is getting high quality links from authority sites. If you can do that, you will rank, no question about it.
Its 90% quality, 10% quantity.

Scrapebox is so 2010
Scrapebox and xRumer isn't even worth looking at nowadays, true story. If you wanna rank, get real links from sites with authority. The key to earn cash is hard work, there is no shortcuts or automatic-programs which will rank your websites on autopilot.
It was fun while it lasted however, time to move on to new and better things.

If people think scrapebox is dead then they obviously NEVER knew how to use scrapebox

Very true, SB's blog commenting feature is by far the least valuable thing that it will do. I will never uninstall my SB, and still use it daily, but not for blog commenting.
However, blog commenting has been dead for some time. You guys don't really thing that 'G' is blind to blog spamming do you? How hard would it be to detect links coming from a blog comment and value them at 0?
Blog commenting still has it's place, such as getting a site indexed and things of that sort. But you cannot simply SB blast your site and rank #1 anymore.

The fact is blog commenting is dead, i have a site with more than 15,000 blog comment links, i did not see any improvement in ranking, initially i was having about 4,000 links, i more than double that links and never saw any ranking, just the same spot, that get me to the position that blog commenting is dead, SB might be useful in other application, definitely not in blog commenting...hope this helps...

In honor of Xrumer and Scrapebox's death I am going to put up a website where everyone can upload their Xrumer and Scrapebox apps with their usernames and passwords and I will be sure to say a blessing for them before I put them onto my external hard drive where they will reside forever in a plastic tomb.

All out spamming won't get you very far. Use it properly and scrapebox is still very useful.

I don't understand why so many members here talk about that "algorithm change" and don't try it in practice.
It looks like there are many people that don't do nothing, but just read and talk without any experience.
Go and buy new domain, add few articles (doesn't need to be unique), buy some auto approve blog list and blast 100k comments.
You will see your site ranking in less then one week.
I'm doing this daily with auto blogs and yes, it's working.
