Everything still works, the only question is for how long will it work.
 
still works my friend - just use multiple exact KW's for ranking on anchor text... dont even need to both with other anchor text (i.e click here, get more info) or naked urls tbh. just dont use that on a clients site.. do it on an expendable site.
 
Yes, but don't go using a single keyword or your asking for trouble. I find well written comments on non-spammed high pr blog pages to work extremely well. If i'm getting something like 100 comments I like to use around 20 different keywords. Around 10 of them main keyword + main keyword included, and the remaining 10 brand, generic, and naked URL variants.

Doing this on niche related blogs is even better.
 
It will work and it will depend on the competition of your keywords and your link profile + diversity.

I would prefer related blog comments.
 
It works but it's a method that has to be mixed up with others. It has small amount of both backlink and direct traffic benefit.

Just do it occasionally. Any more will drive you nuts!
 
It works buddy, well the things to follow are:
Dont use one keyword or your site gets banned.
Write on high pr only
Write on blogs with same niche as yours.
Write high quality comment.

Yes, Its Absolutely Work, But Its Depend On Quality Of Work.
 
Yes it's working no, but beware with high OBL spammy links, if you link bulid with high OBL you will be penalize friends take care with high OBL.
 
To me it has a slight effect (not massive) but I don't go overboard.

To me it looks part and parcel of a natural link profile for a site.
 
Focus only on High PR blogs in the same niche you act, or in a close one. Still works, but don't do much.
 
sure it works, 90% of links in the internet comes from comments. Comments are bond that connect people and share interests.

The only thing that matters - comment must look like it belongs there.

still works, but don't post on high obl pages, or on no value pages (low PR).
Diversify your anchor text and don't overuse this type of posting. mix it with many types of patforms posting.
