Blog commenting help

Hi guys,

trying to work up some backlinks with blog commenting but I've gotta admit, im struggling! Im using a **************** blog list I found that has pr4 and upwards blogs. I am hand writing each comment with perfect grammar and spelling, the comment is also a few sentences long and relevant to the blog post. Yesterday I did around 10 comments, checked them all today and only 2 have been approved :\ and 1 of them I had my keyword taken out of my name!

Any tips of finding better blogs to comment on? I can always write a useful response to the blog post but it seems that my keyword as my name is stopping them from being approved (the keyword has 3 words in it)

easy... do a google search for auto approved blogs.. that way you will not run into any moderators..

If you really have quality high PR blogs it's worth it to replace your keywords with your first name, for instance. It's always good to have links coming from quality sites, even though you won't get links with anchor text. And in addition you can post with anchor text on auto-approved blogs as kez1000 mentioned.

1. Find auto-approval site which has been spammed by other webmasters in the comments.

2. Look through their links and run through backlinkwatch.

Moderation can be avoided. When a spam link sticks for long enough to show up on a BLW profile, 80% of the time it's due to auto-approval. Bloggers who moderate their blogs are usually over-strict and the increased commenting time vs. low success rate causes me to turn my back on moderated formats.

There is a wealth of auto-approved stuff out there, you just need to get on the right track. Don't be too much of a purist with regard to outbound links. Sure, less = better, but it doesn't matter all that much. You will not be harmed by putting your link on a spammed site, unless it's messed up really badly with 500 viagra / gambling links. Even then, the worst that will happen is that Google will ignore the link.

Remember, stay away from wordpress/blogger. Also, I do comment on moderated blogs sometimes, but only if it's really, really good (i.e. Yale.edu) In those cases, I use a non-commercial anchor.

Thankyou very much for the help guys, I will aim for auto moderated comments I think and for the good PR blogs that do get moderated I will just use a generic name instead of my keyword.
