I'm trying to build some backlinks for a friend, and thought blog commenting would be helpful. I'm talking about a little more meaningful stuff on closely related topics.

I looked at Comment Kahuna but it doesn't work well.

Can you point me to something else that may be helpful?

If you are not gonna use any tools to find blogs for commenting. Try this...

Compile a list of most widely blog platforms. Find footprints to find those blogs. For example, you can use the basic footprint "Powered by Wordpress". Now add your keywords along with your footprint like this..

"Powered by Wordpress" "dog food"
You will get targeted wordpress blog posts which talks about dog food where you do can manual commenting.

This is pretty basic stuff. When you do more research on the footprints, you can come up with more targeted list. The same(harvesting targeted blog pages) can be automated using Scrapebox.

I would also recommend not using a robot if you want your comments to stick for a while, but actually write useful comments that relate to the post.

You can start buyng some blog comment services... and if you think that is worth buy scrapebox.

It's either Scrapebox, Scrapebox or Scrapebox in my opinion...

Scrapebox, Xrumer, and Link Farm Evolution. I love these programs. :) Hope it helped you.

Really blog comment is help us to shoot pagerank on search engine.

but blog comment should be ******** and actual pagerank pages.

Blog commenting is generaly frowned upon as a linkbuilding method. Most blogs have nofollowed blog comment links which makes any link that you build in their site useless when it comes to passing out page rank. This is also one technique to generate more traffic for the site. The biggest trouble involved wit blog commenting are finding the right blogs for your comments and the getting those comments approved.

Blog commenting service is best for manually n high page rank..

Yeah blog comenting is the best way for traffic in link building.

As Kate12 suggested, many blogs have nofollow links and on even more of them you have to get your comments approved. So manual commenting is one, if you want still want to use this technique and other ways to build links are guest posting (requires more effort), submitting articles to directories and social sharing sites like stumbleupon and reddit. If you are still focused on commenting, you can try social commenting too, just need to find the right pages and posts to comment on and there is no approval there, so you might try bots as well. There are threads on the forum with more info on such techniques.
