Blog Comment Spam - Connect to News?

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Was curious how many of you guys use recent news with a custom tailored spun comment for blog posting?

For instance, the Kim Davis Clerk thing that's big news.

"Kim Davis is a POS that should be fired!" "I totally agree with Kim Davis. You go girl. Fight the power!"

Was thinking about giving this strategy a try myself. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried it and it's worth doing as opposed to the usual blog comment spam blasts.

Could be used, no body really bothers when it comes to higher tier comment blasts.
