Blog Comment Do Help Neil Patel

they are no follow. i doubt they help


(i mean i know healthy link profile has nofollow links too but they dont pass any link juice)
 
This looks like a repurposed article from a couple of years ago.

I don´t trust this guy too much.

Not saying he´s a "fake guru" or that this study has no validity, but anytime i see a study based article without any date on it, it makes me wonder how current and relevant is today.

But in regards to this post, i see from one of the first comments someone saying "happy new year" so i might be mistaken and this is actually a recent study.

Will check it out, thanks for sharing!

why would he test nofollow links if he already banks from selling his course to noobz

I don't know if your on his mailing list you get pumped from the very start of what ever that email is in the chain.. I think that's why dates are removed so people can't see how old the content is when getting emails out from him. That was one issue a few months ago someone made a comment about some email they had but the blog post was 2 years old.. (I think or maybe that was just me making an observation - can't remember!)

Not saying that's the case here but I do find some of his blog posts / emails a little bit on the dated side when it comes to information anyway and nothing tends to fall in line with his videos...

The other issue I have with most of his studies or content is he claims you don't need X or Y to do this or that. Which is fine when your established as he is and will get a 1000+ shares from an instant social post or have 10000s of people visiting a tool or page daily.. Like anything on the internet take it with a gain of salt..
 
I don't think its fair to say No follow has no benefit. I think there is a place for them - if you want links for "juice" then I can kind of see that argument. But for a brand mention follow or not I think they have a place.

Btw nofollow did better than control group. Not by much

I do agree about no date but lot of 2020 December 19 and new year



Here were the groups:

  1. Control – we didn’t build any links to these sites, we just wanted to see what happened to their rankings over time with no focus on link building.
  2. Nofollow high domain score blog comment links – with this group, we built 10 links through blog comments. The links pointed to the newly written post and they were from blogs that had a domain score of 50 or higher and they all contained a nofollow attribute.
  3. D0follow high domain score blog comment links – with this group, we built 5 links through blog comments. The links pointed to the new post and were ******** from blogs with a domain score of 40 or higher. (I reduced the domain score criteria for this category and the link quantity as we struggled to find a large number of high authority blogs that pass link juice in the comment section.)
  4. D0follow low domain score blog comment links – with this group, we built 10 links through blog comments. Each link pointed back to the article and it was from a blog that contains a domain score of at least 20 but no higher than 39. (I was able to build more links here as there are many more low domain score blogs than high domain

this is true we didnt read, but ive skimmed over the text a bit now. seems nofollow helps but not much. dof.ollow helps a lot, especially with high DA

If I can get my visitors by SECONDARY keywords by handful of comments so be it.

That is what this article is about. The main question remains is when was this study, since it has no date

I just seen one post on here that 200 search volume can turn to 5000 search volume by SECONDARY keywords and 5000 search volume can turn to 200 search volume.



It was something like on page seo 2020
 
Blog comments still works good, and i think No-follow back-link from high authority blog site is useful. It makes website look natural.
 
Ok What is new here? We know that blog comments do work. Even people are buying do.f.ollow comment links from site owners for a cheap price and bypass moderation.
 
It looks like a good test. Going to test it myself.
