what you think guys? Its worth the time? or is useless?

I think others will disagree with me, however I would rate it as dangerous. It is probably one of the most used spam techniques for a very long time.
Now if the admins are doing their job well and filtering the messages well, it should be good for you ... but is it?

Been working for past few years for me. Took a break from it but trying again this week on some low competition KW's.

I would say if those comments are manually approved, then it is worth it, unlike those auto-approved links, which will only damage your website.

i used to blog commenting but i found only good authority website blog comments are good......and blog comments on google Blogspot found as spam...it increases my website spam score, reduces Alexa, and decreased Moz DA, PA.
explain whether it is right or wrong?

Yes they do work but only if you want to rank for short time. Some day or other; Google will rank you down for such kind of links.

Don't comment on websites which already has hundreds and thousands of comments already added.

They're literally spread over and in use for a very long time. Better switch to something that sticks.

They are not much effective and harmful if you post them on un moderated blogs with thousands of auto approved comments.

It helps but not much effective like other links, choose a legit site and don't spam it.

for now, me and my friends still do that, because i think our boss stell have some vision, he still give some task a day to do blog commenting and we do that, he said we will do in long term job, maybe until end of the years, maybe.

you have good results with this method?

Usually if I can get to Google page 2, maybe 3 with on page only, 2 or 3 blog or forum comments usually push the rankings to mid/bottom of page 1. I place the anchor text in the body of the blog comment. Lets you control the anchor text, but your comments are less likely to get approved, and not sure my blog would pass a manual review if my backlinks were scrutinised using this method :)

Getting some dancing in the rankings with a page I'm trying to rank with blog comments currently so will see if the rankings work out for worse or better when things settle :)

How you make the comment approval?

How you make the comment approval?

Write a genuine non-spammy response to something you have read in the article you are commenting on. However most site owners won't approve your comment as soon as they see an outbound link inserted. I only get about 10 to 20% approval rate with this type of comment.

In the same niche + not spammed to death = good

Yes I have noticed I only really see movement if it's in a related niche.

DoF0llow seem to work well. Authority of the site and amount of OBL obviously matters. In the past it did seem to really help if commenting on laser targeted niche articles. I haven't tried that in a couple years.
