Blog about Russian language learning

Recently I realized that if I want to work the job I like I need to learn Russian language. My English also isn't very good so I decided to start a blog where I'll be writing about my progress of learning Russian. It will help me to improve my English language skills and maybe will make my learning of Russian a bit interesting. In the blog I will be sharing some useful tips and will be tracking my progress. How can I get some visitors to my blog? Should I create it on wordpress cms or should I choose blogger or etc..? What do you think personally, is this blog would be interesting to you?

Are you giong to make money with this blog? If so choose wordpress and rank it into Google. You can also get traffic from social networks, but if you aren't going to make money out of it, you can choose any of those two CMSs and take their subdomain (you won't need domain if you're not aiming making money with it).

Personally for me it will be interesting to read your blog, because I'm also learning Russian.

My goal isn't to make money from it, but it would be great to make some extra income later if this blog would be successful. I am thinking about wordpress because it is comfortable for me, but the biggest question is from where I could get traffic at first because to rank in this niche can be very hard (of course I will try, but it would be great to have an extra source of visitors not even google). Perhaps I should try to promote it in youtube?

Go with wordpress, if your intention is not making money right now but in future you may be indulge in making money out of it. Start with wordpress and look for opportunities to make money. I'd be interested to know your link if you've launched your site.
