Blocking Page Source?

Thats a bad example. Maybe you mean the way woothemes.com blocks their source?
 
doesnt redirect, tried with google chrome, also on woothemes. ive heard about html encryption some time ago. if i remember right, it was something with javascript. but i dont know if this is good for seo.
 
There is no effective means of protecting your page source code...

You can encrypt, obfuscate, and do a number of tricks but, nothing is 100%

They don't really block it, they just minimize it to save bandwidth. Use a code beautifier and you get it back to readable format.
 
The page source is visible and working perfectly. Maybe there is a glitch with your browser or something.

Well, as a programmer and custom bot supplier, I know that there is no foolproof way to do this. There is always something or the other that can be done to get around any such thing.
