What do you think?

What are the pro's and con's of doing so?

A major con (IMO) is that you aren't included in opportunities to be in the SGE Snippet?

A pro is possibly that your content isn't been "stolen"

if a GPT bot can access your website and content, there's not much a user would need to make them want to do to visit your the website. They can just ask a follow-up question and get their query answered. So I'm not sure it's the best idea as a content based website.

God only knows how many bots actually honor these.

Yes I agree - but it would be easy to set a test on ChatGPT and then write a shitpost on them - I think OpenAI is 'probably' more legit to obey robots...

I realized that my post is a bit of a dumb-ass thing to say - ChatGPT and SGE are not the same thing... :)

Anyways - the core of the message remains the same - like, why allow ChatGPT in? Are you guys saying more "yes" than "no"?

SGE is search engine feature. ChatGPT is unrelated.

A con would be if you wanted to use web browsing feature and crawl your website.
