My Facebook was deactivated but I am still on messenger. If i block someone on messenger, will we still be friends once i unblock him and reactivate my Facebook account?

Yes, you’ll still remain friends with him. When you try to block someone, Facebook gives you two options: block on Facebook or block on Messenger. If you choose to block only on Messenger, you will still stay friends.

Blocking someone on Messenger does NOT unfriend them on Facebook.
When you unblock them, if you were previously friends, you will remain friends.
Having your Facebook account disabled does not change this.
When you reactivate your Facebook account, your friend list will be restored to its original state (unless you or they actively unfriended you during that time).

Yes. Blocking someone on Messenger does not remove them from your Facebook friends list. If your Facebook account is reactivated later and you unblock that person on Messenger, you will still remain friends on Facebook, as long as you did not unfriend or block them directly on Facebook itself.

You're still friends with them; blocking them on Messenger won't show up, blocking them on Facebook will block them everywhere and automatically unfriend them.

In my opinion, Messenger and Facebook are separate, so you can still use Messenger even if your Facebook account is banned.

Blocking someone on Messenger and blocking someone on Facebook are two different things.

Yes, blocking someone on Messenger doesn’t remove them as a Facebook friend. Once you unblock them and reactivate your account, your friendship will still be there unless you manually unfriend them.

Blocking someone on Messenger only stops messages and doesn’t affect your Facebook friend status. After you unblock them and reactivate your account, you’ll still be friends unless you remove them yourself.

You two are still friends, because you're just temporarily cutting off contact between you two, but that person will know you've blocked them because they can no longer text you.

that usually means they blocked chats only, not the whole profile, which people do when they need space.

i’ve seen this happen when someone blocks only messages but not the profile, so it doesn’t necessarily mean a full block.

Basically, you'll still be friends with them normally, because Messenger and Facebook now have separate blocking mechanisms, so disconnecting via messages doesn't automatically result in losing connection on your profile.

They can’t message or call you on Messenger
You remain Facebook friends
