Instagram is starting to really irritate me. I am manually following from my accounts, however, i get some type of block, where I'm unable to follow anymore accounts, even though I am doing this manually and not spamming and only following niche relevant accounts. WTF is going on with instagram ?

Even manual gets block, looks like you hit their hourly/daily limit.

Yeah manual follow/unfollow is prone to blocks, but as long as you have necessary wait times like in Jarvee between sets of actions, you should be good to go!

Cool down, let it rest a bit when you hit the limits. This is the new game, if you are patient enough your account will gain enough trust score to go higher and higher in limits

if you've been doing it for a significantly time you might have followed some patterns or excess the number of actions across that time.

I’ve had the same. Heard some people have had success reinstalling the app or switching IPs, otherwise you just have to wait it out and reduce + spread out your actions throughout the day.

It is still possible to get blocked on IG when doing manual engagement. This is because IG doesn't actually detect if there is a bot or a human doing engagement, rather they just detect the time intervals and the number of actions (ie) button click, loading pics, anything that would send a request to their servers). They have certain limits on these actions. Now, the nice thing is that when you do it manually, it is easier to not get blocked simply because you can not do as many actions. In terms of your problem here, you could simply just be trying to follow to many people at once. Also, IG has a cap of how many people you can follow which is 7500 accounts. Hope this helps!

The daily limit for following and unfollowing is 200 on Instagram.

If you will keep following the accounts consistently, then Instagram would restrict your account, and it will keep you from doing certain activities for a few days.

According to the sources, 10 follows, and unfollows per hour would keep your account and safe.

I was lucky on day and manually followed around 400 people, the days after I still could follow around 200 without getting any block

From my experience I'd keep it to under 100 per day to not flag your account. Usually ~50 in an hour will get you a temporary block placed on your account.

We'll it all does vary from account to account. Wherever Instagram classes you in the algorithm. An older account that's gradually built up its actions per day will not get blocked if you don't go over the limits. If you're being aggressive and started a new account then, of course, you will get action blocks quicker.

Don't perform any actions for some time. I faced the same problem and it has shown my followers count 0. But when I view from other account, it has shown the correct count. I waited for almost 48 hours and it got reset automatically.
