so you think when blockchain dot com website didn't renew their domain or the host is down or the owner died you will lose your funds?
You hope??I hope its a exit scam. haha
*Not.You hope??
Not likely. Look at Mt. Gox.Anyone knows what will happen if one of the biggest firms like binance, coinbase etc. got hacked and everyone lose their funds?
Any way that the clients get their money back?
So you think blockchain dot com is like paypal that can ban your account or the website don't exist anymore and you will lose your money? You say that mate but it's not like it hasn't happened before.
Anyway, OP I am sure it will be fine, just subscribe to updates on the status page and you or your friend will get notified when it comes back online.

Now a days these exchanges are much more protected from hacks/fraud. HOWEVER there is no guarantees. If you leave your money on an exchange it’s always a risk. Maybe the exchange gets hacked, maybe it’s an exit scam, or maybe they hold your money hostage for months while trying to confirm identify.
