Block Bad Bots For Subdomains Question

Hi

If I already have blocked bad bots using htaccess in domain.com, should I create another bot clocking codes in htaccess for the subdomain or the htaccess in domain.com should sufficiently block all bots in any subdomain I create?

It's better to create subdomain also

Need to create another .htaccess for the subdomain.
