Morning all

I'm building out a proxy farm at the moment (and will be seeking unpaid beta testers very soon) and need to choose a billing platform.

I am thinking of Blesta or WHMCS... BTW should I be considering others?

Apart from the straight up billing functions and interface I am looking for a good API interface so that I can:

- Integrate the credit purchase function into my proxy panel.
- Update customer usage stats based on log aggregation. i.e. user buys 5GB.. and once they use 5GB the platform will disable their account
- Either via webhook (ideal!) or polling, grab the details for accounts that have been closed out and then update my proxy servers, to disable their auth.

What do you think?

WHMCS could be a strong choice for your needs. It offers a built-in order process, customizable email templates, and a robust API for integrations. Additionally, it comes with hooks that allow you to automate processes like account updates and usage monitoring. Another advantage is its built-in ticket system, which can help manage customer support efficiently.
