I have build links to my main sites but I want to continue increasing the power and DA of those sites, but I need to sort my links.

In the most simple terms, would I be able to do the following?

  1. Register A Web 2.0 (example.wordpress.com or example.blogspot.com)
  2. Create a post on the Web 2.0, linking to my main site
  3. Link to the posts on the Web 2.0
And my site should increase?

I have a load of lower quality links that I want to use on my main sites but I don't want to point directly, I want to create a couple of other sites to duplicate the power.

Don't want to do it wrong and it not be effective or not work at all.

In my experience, it's pretty much a waste of time.

If you're targeting low competition keywords with next to no competition, then you probably don't need to do any backlinking. If you're targeting harder keywords, then this sort of spam is not going to help.

I have received manual penalties in the past for web 2.0 backlinks and once I removed them all it did not impact my rankings at all, several months later, it's still ranking.

DA is a worthless metric focus on building quality links that’s it

Focus on quality links and diversify link profile, those web 2.0 backlinks doesn't have much impact

Ah thanks. I won't bother setting one up then, I'll just look at building a few links to my sites and watching the improvements.

Well this is an old way to approach it, nowdays you need human signals on those links otherwise they won't work.

Google uses the tracking data for ranking, not just static links somewhere.

If that links gets zero traffic, it counts neutral or against you.
