By Blank Anchor I mean stuff like

You can't see the link itself but google still detects it

No they are not really designed for diversity... doh (in the short term maybe but that's not their purpose.)
They will work to get comments and the like to stick but will get penalised sooner or later. If you were to use them either do it on something you control or keep a log of them ready for disavow if you need to try and recover.
It's a churn and burn method but don't expect it to last too long (niche dependant)

I dont think this can be used for diversity and its not look cool if you go with completely qualitative link building.

no, never use blank space for anchors, use natural/generic keywords

Why would you use blank anchors? It doesn't give you much power and its not good idea even for diversification.

good to mask links in high authority websites, the owners don't see the <a tags and since there's no anchor they don't see it's a link but google does
